We are a family of believers united in Christ, called to grow together in faith and live out God’s love in practical ways. As disciples of Jesus, we are committed to prayer, worship, and evangelism, trusting in the power of the Holy Spirit to guide us. Army of the Lord Church is more than a place of worship it is a home where lives are transformed, relationships are strengthened, and communities are built on the foundation of God’s Word.

A Journey of Faith and Growth

The Army of the Lord Church (Église Armée du Seigneur – EAS) is one of the Revival Churches in the Democratic Republic of Congo. It was founded on March 1, 2010, under the leadership of Apostle Jean Enene Sango Wana, together with the founding members: Reverend Bahemuka Banga Beching (the current legal representative), Reverend Tibamwenda Basara Jacques, Reverend Joël Amisi, elders Koko Batuku and Isingoma Esau Abraham. They were joined by other co-founders, including Reverend Alain Dino, elders Philippe Basara, Gobi Joseph, Willy Magbo, deacons Madudu and Pascal Wedung’a, and dedicated women of faith such as Sidonie Enene, Mave Amooti Honorine, and Ayenya Bibisha.

By God’s grace, the ministry steadily grew in impact and influence. On August 9, 2024, through Ministerial Order No. 012/CAB/ME/MIN/J&GS/2024, the Army of the Lord Church (EAS/ASBL) was officially granted legal personality as a non-profit religious association in the DRC.

What We Do

At Army of the Lord Church, our calling goes beyond the walls of the sanctuary. We are devoted to preaching the Gospel, making disciples, and demonstrating God’s love through both spiritual and practical action.

Our ministry focuses on:

  • Worship & Evangelism – proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ and nurturing believers in their faith.
  • Family & Counseling – strengthening marriages, families, and individuals through biblical guidance.
  • Prayer & Intercession – standing together in prayer for personal, community, and national transformation.
  • Charitable Works – supporting communities through initiatives such as healthcare, education, orphan care, and homes for the elderly.
  • Community Transformation – empowering people with moral, spiritual, and social values that bring lasting impact.

Through these ministries, we live out our mission of transforming society holistically by the power of God’s love.

Our Mission

Our mission is to holistically transform society through the love of God. This means reaching people with the Gospel while also addressing their practical needs through sustainable and impactful initiatives. Everything we do from prayer and worship to development projects is centered on glorifying God and advancing His kingdom here on earth.
