Our Mission
Our mission is to holistically transform society through the love of God. This means reaching people with the Gospel while also addressing their practical needs through sustainable and impactful initiatives. Everything we do from prayer and worship to development projects is centered on glorifying God and advancing His kingdom here on earth.
Our History
The Army of the Lord’s Church is one of the Revival Churches in the Democratic Republic of Congo. It was founded on March 1st, 2010, under the leadership of its first overseer, Apostle Jean ENENE SANGO WAANA, along with its founders, including the current legal representative, Reverend BAHEMUKA BANGA BECHING, Reverend TIBAMWENDA BASARA JACQUES, Reverend JOEL AMISI, elders KOKO Batuku and ISINGOMA ESAU ABRAHAM, as well as other co-founding members such as Reverend Alain DINO, elders Philippe BASARA, GOBI JOSEPH, Willy Magbo, deacons MADUDU and PASCAL WEDUNG’A, and the women leaders SIDONIE ENENE, HONORINE MAVE AMOOTI, and AYENYA BIBISHA.
In recognition of its spiritual and social activities, the church was officially granted legal status as a non-profit faith-based association by Ministerial Decree No. 012/CAB/ME/MIN/J&GS/2024 dated August 9, 2024.
What We Do
At Army of the Lord Church, our mission extends beyond worship. We are committed to preaching the Gospel, forming disciples, and demonstrating God’s love through both spiritual and practical actions. Our key activities include worship, evangelism, prayer, family support, and community development through charitable works like schools, clinics, and orphanages.
Objectives
In order to serve our Creator fully and faithfully, the Army of the Lord’s Church pursues the following objectives:
- To worship God and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ in accordance with the teachings of the Holy Scriptures
- To evangelize the nations and promote the spiritual, moral, and holistic growth of every believer
- To promote human, Christian, and moral values throughout the population, and to contribute to the moral transformation of the Congolese people
- To establish, support, and promote charitable works such as hospitals, clinics, retirement homes, educational institutions, orphanages, and more
- To provide social assistance to the most vulnerable and actively participate in initiatives that protect and promote moral values.
